Nowadays, professional wrestling sports have taken a bold step to be recognized well in Nigeria's sports history. The establishment of many wrestling academies followed up this development immediately.
Nigeria, leading the African wrestling championship, has won several medals at different wrestling tournaments at the international level, which indicates the professional level of wrestling in the country's sports sector today.
