Todayng sport online news February 10, 2018: Nigeria wrestling team won 46 medals which consist of 16 gold, 14 silver and 16 bronze during the 2018 Africa Wrestling Championships held at Alfred Diete-Spiff Civic Centre, Port Harcourt.

Daniel Igali, the president of Nigeria Wrestling Federation expressed gratitude over the impression that the team has made so far at the event which hosted different countries which included Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sudan, Madagascar, Liberia, Egypt, Guinea Bissau, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Namibia, Kenya, Burundi, Cameron, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Uganda, Senegal and the host, Nigeria.
